Carlisle Tree Lighting & Santa Sighting
Monday, December 7, 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Pile the gang in the car, make sure you all have a mask, and greet Santa and his Elves!
Santa wants us all to stay COVID-19 safe this year! He is going to visit Carlisle with his elves to say hello and collect your Christmas wish list! Working with the fun folks at Ferns Country Store and our police department, Santa invites children of all ages to the center of town on Monday, December 7.
Visit this Sign Up Genius to choose the hour (4:00-5:00, 5:00-6:00 or 6:00 - 7:00 pm) that you will come by car to greet Santa and give your letter to one of his elves. Drivers are asked to drive up Church Street from Bedford Road (traffic will be reversed), enjoy a Fern's bag of cookies and take out cup of cocoa as you pass Spalding Field, pass the school parking lot and then turn right into the First Religious Society driveway. Wait there in your car until an elf greets you.
Santa will be on the top step in front of the church where an elf will escort children (wearing masks, of course) to greet Santa from the ground level and drop off their Christmas letter. A parent/guardian may take a photo of their child/children in front of Santa, and an elf will guide the family back to their car. Greet and wave at Santa from a distance but no whispering in his ear or sitting in his lap this year. You may have to wait in your car for a bit so be patient, enjoy the lights and look for some little surprises along the way!
